This is the second book by Di van
Niekerk and even better then the first. This book shows new techniques
for applique. She describes how to use interfacing to attach a shape
to ribbon. This is an interesting addition to the other techniques
using wire and stabilizer to make independent pieces. She also shows
how to applique images taken from other fabrics.
This book is a natural progression of her work from the first book but using more advanced techniques. The book includes both a color and black and white design of her second collage of flower designs. Though the book stands on it's own it is worth the purchasing her first book.
